On-Demand Immunization Training
The San Fracisco Department of Public Health periodically conducts trainings and presentations around hepatitis testing and vaccinating, immunization updates for nurses, influenza prevention, and universal precautions. Please call (415) 554-2830 with your specific training needs.
IZ 101 (50-80 minutes)
The San Francisco Department of Public Health in collaboration with the San Francisco Immunization Coalition provides general information on vaccine-preventable diseases. The course introduces participants to the Recommended Childhood/Adolescent Immunization Schedule as well as the yellow card. The curriculum also covers how vaccines work, vaccine safety issues, myths and other immunization related topics.
