Federal Section 317 / Vaccines For Adults (VFA) Program

  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella Vaccine (MMR-II)
  • Meningococcal ACWY (Menveo)
  • Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis Vaccine (Boostrix)
  • Varicella (chickenpox) Vaccine (Varivax)

WHO QUALIFIES: See CA Vaccines for Adults (VFA) Program Eligibility Based on Insurance Status

  • Adults 19 years of age and older may receive VFA vaccines if they are:
    • Uninsured – no public or private health insurance coverage
    • Underinsured – health insurance does not cover some or all VFA vaccines.
  • Medicare Patients (depends on the type of coverage) See the “WHO QUALIFIES” link above

COST: If you qualify, the vaccine(s) are free. Vaccine administration is $26 and is waivable for patients who are unable to pay.

Federal Vaccines For Children (VFC) Program

  • Diphtheria, Tetanus, and acellular Pertussis Vaccine (DTaP) (Infanrix)
  • Diphtheria, Tetanus, and acellular Pertussis-Polio Combo Vaccine (DTaP-IPV) (Kinrix)
  • Diphtheria, Tetanus, and acellular Pertussis-Polio-Hepatitis B Combo Vaccine (DTaP-IPV-Hep B) (Pediarix)
  • Hepatitis B Vaccine (Engerix-B)
  • HPV Vaccine (Gardasil-9) (please contact us prior to scheduling your visit)
  • Influenza Quadrivalent Vaccines (Injectable and Intranasal (IN)) If IN, please contact us prior to scheduling
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella Vaccine (MMR-II)
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella, & Varicella Combo Vaccine (MMRV) (Proquad)
  • Meningococcal B Vaccine (MenB) (please contact us prior to scheduling your visit)
  • Pneumococcal Polysaccharide Vaccine (PPSV) (please contact us prior to scheduling your visit)
  • Polio Vaccine (IPV)
  • Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis Vaccine (Boostrix)
  • Varicella (Chickenpox) Vaccine (Varivax)

WHO QUALIFIES: See VFC Eligibility Screening & Documentation Requirements

  • Children (birth through 18 years)
    • Medicaid (Medical/CHDP) eligible
    • Uninsured: A child who has no health insurance coverage
    • American Indian or Alaska Native
    • A patient who self-identifies as uninsured or American Indian/Alaska Native requires no additional proof.
  • Underinsured: A child who has private health insurance, and health insurance does not cover some or all VFC vaccines. *

*To receive the VFC vaccine, present to a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) or Rural Health Center (RHC)

COST: If you qualify, the vaccine(s) are free. No fee for vaccine administration.

State-Funded Vaccines

  • Influenza (Flu) Vaccine (Injectable)

WHO QUALIFIES:

Influenza (Flu) Vaccine (Injectable): Persons aged 6 months and older, with priority given to persons who have trouble paying for vaccination and/or are uninsured. Note: this only applies to the regular, quadrivalent flu vaccine (not the senior “high-dose” flu vaccine, Flu Mist intranasal vaccine, or “vegan” egg-free FluBlok vaccine).

COST: If you qualify, the vaccine(s) are free. No fee for vaccine administration.
