COVID-19

Order of the health officer requiring personnel working in designated Healthcare Facilities—meaning general acute care hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, intermediate care facilities, other types of ambulatory care settings, and jail health facilities to wear a Well-Fitted Mask at all times when in the same room as patients, clients, or residents with limited exceptions. Effective November 1, 2023 – April 30, 2024

Order of the health officer requiring staff who are stationed at or regularly work at healthcare facilities and jail health settings to continue to be vaccinated against COVID-19 and have at least one booster. 

Influenza

Line list for facilities to report cases of non-COVID respiratory illness (influenza, RSV, etc.) to SFDPH.

Order of the health officer requiring healthcare workers in designated health facilities to receive their influenza vaccine each year during influenza season. The deadline to complete the annual requirement is no later than October 31st.
