Tuberculosis Control

San Francisco Tuberculosis Prevention and Control Program

The mission of the San Francisco Tuberculosis Prevention and Control Program is to prevent, control, and finally eliminate tuberculosis in San Francisco by providing compassionate, equitable, and supportive care of the highest quality to all persons affected by this disease.

Tuberculosis (TB) and COVID-19: Be alert for these overlapping syndromes!

Consider TB disease as a cause of respiratory illness – even in those who test positive for COVID-19 – when TB risks, signs, symptoms or imaging findings are present. This poster outlines a comparison of the overlap.

Call to report suspected or confirmed TB: (628) 206-3398
