Adults Need Immunizations Too!
Immunizations are an important part of staying healthy throughout adult life. There are specific vaccine recommendations for different ages and adult circumstances. Some adults may be more at risk for certain diseases due to age, a preexisting illnesses, or certain lifestyle.
The San Francisco Department of Public Health launched a new social marketing campaign this fall, known as the IMMUNITY campaign. This campaign has two phases: the first is aimed at increasing awareness citywide about the importance of adult vaccination, and the second is aimed at prompting everyone to get their flu vaccine this year.
