Hepatitis Programs

Hepatitis vaccines have dramatically decreased the incidence of acute hepatitis A and B in San Francisco. Viral hepatitis (hepatitis A, hepatitis B and hepatitis C), however, remains a public health issue.  We conduct and participate in numerous programs that promote prevention and awareness.

• Hepatitis A and B Vaccine Distribution Program (for qualified providers)
• Perinatal Hep B Program (to prevent infection of babies born to infected mothers)
• Hepatitis Education - (for providers and for the general public)
